Partly my fault. I kept forgetting to cut that quote train.
So anyway, with Prime's 2.83 million as the benchmark, any Metroid game that sells 5 million or more would be the breakthrough, most certainly.
A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.
