He's actually arguing that it's a good thing when an industry forces consumers to go in a direction they didn't want to go. That is why he says Nintendo is wrong and Sony and MS are right when he knows perfectly well that consumers (including himself!) prefer Nintendo's offerings.
I wouldn't believe it if I hadn't seen it.
