I got it the day it came out and always knew it would be the bomb, even at $170. The 360 version is sold out at every retailer I have been to. I have seen the PS3 version a plenty ...

I'm not exactly sure how or why that's constructive to the thread :P but if it helps you feel better then all is well. On that note I've seen plenty for both consoles, and my roomates and I are going to pick it up for PS3.

I will agree with the above poster when he stated storage for the damn thing XD thank god we have this odd shaped closet under out stairwell or it would be a massive pain in the ass >_> I hates clutter. Madskillz how is the quality of the set itself? Should we be worried about drumming to hard?

Because folks said it was a flop and I was stating what versions of the game I have seen. I haven't seen a 360 version yet. And the PS3 version isn't selling as well as the 360. Don't get it twisted - I am not trying to start a flame fest in here (though I did bring some marshmallows and a few Prime Ribs).

What I was stating is Rock Band isn't selling off store shelves, but even the PS3 is selling, just not as fast the 360 version.

Comeon, Chrono ... you don't think I would flame,  huh?

The quality for the mic is good - the drums are sturdy BUT if you beat them too hard, they will break. The guitar is the weakest link. The GH II and GH III guitar controllers are much, much sturdier, but it helps when Red Octane made the hardware for GH anyhow, not Harmonix.

And the foot-pedal for the drums is cheap. You can buy a piece of metal off eBay that makes it feel like a real foot-pedal.

You definitely need a lot of room to play this game, but I suspect most folks are setting it up in their living rooms. I have a dedicated room for my video games and it fits just fine.
