I love how certain people around here like to bring up "Sales history" and "Trends" that show how the number one console of each generation took it's rightfull place, well let me ask a serious question. Has the #1 system ever taken it's place by being strong in only 1 market? To my knowledge no :/ Given the fact that the PS3 already has more selling prowress in Europe/Japan, I'd say it's only a matter of time. I think theres a MUCH higher probability of people buying a PS3 to go along side their 360 when the price drops, then people in other country's actually even bothering to shell out for a 360 period.

Brand name, functionality, and first party recognition all seem to have much longer legs in the playstation family then anything non-halo related on the 360 :/ Considering the fact also that the 360 was on the market an entire year without competition and it only managed a 7m lead on the PS3? I think unless America buys 3x the ammount of hardware that the "others" and Japan buy, the 360 sadly has no chance at taking second place.

I just can't see a console that only really sells well in America take much in any generation :\

From 0 to KICKASS in .stupid seconds.
