Of cousrse it had over 1m Pre-Orders and that is also the reason why it sold 400k first week :P

Maybe Sony count digital preorders because VGC don't... the game sold near 5 million and VGC has it just 3.8M because don't track digital sales.

GT5:P receive Platinum status before launch, just with preorders.

1 million preorders and yet 700k worldwide launch week?  I know it was on PSN aswell but I'd bet that most people bought the retail copy.
