If I remember right Microsoft said that Halo 3 was suppose to be the execution of the PS3. Yeah I dont see anywhere it, either. If Halo 3 was suppose to be their major kill on the PS3, then things don't bode well for the 360 dispite its headstart.
Microsoft has launched alot of bombs on the gamer market. It has had a large effect in the states, while in other locations the 'damage' has been minimal. For your sake I hope youre only talking about the US sales, cause in regions like Europe & Japan, the PS3 might succeed without the support from the states.
So there is definitely a chance of the PS3 coming in, second after the Wii in the long run, while Microsoft may lose a large chunk of its market share due to other critical areas like previously mentioned Japan and Europe respectfully.
