I seem to remember when the Wii came out , nobody was that convinced by the Motion controls of the Wii Remote for quite a while and it got a fair bit of bashing before people came around. At pre-launch and and for at least the first 6 months after, Kinect and Move will probably be in the same situation, trying to convince people and their established install base that they work and are worth getting.
So at launch they will most likely be out-shone by their rivals top franchise.
