unfortunately, it looks that 360 is in danger. It seems weird to state that but it's just losing so much steam in EU and it's last japan big hope (Lost Odyssey) sounded like a cry in an ocean of carelessness.
The thing is Sony strategy is flawed as it should put all its efforts to have one title (not several : one) that makes the headlines in the mainpress / massmedia.
Ps3 must have its image changed to something that is cool to own, not something expensive for hardcore au audiophiles maniacs. FFXIII et MGS4 will not change that. LittleBigPlanet is not "complex" for that.
They should release specific games targetting girls : something about animals, lifestyle, fashion (do'nt forget : where there are girls, boys are coming, opposite is not true). They could release some educational games for kids. That would attract a total new crowd. And with the media capabiities of ps3, it could do wonders. Last point, those kind of "games" cost 1/10th to develop than standard AAA titles.
Sincerely, i find more potential blockbuster sales in Afrika and Aqua than the rest of ps3 heavy hitters.
