The Lord of the Rings: Fellowship is my favorite movie of all time. It's just so... wonderful. The score (<3 Howard Shore), the world of Middle Earth itself (New Zealand rocks), and the Fellowship itself... it's just a great film.
The death of Boromir always gets me. Always. *tears up*
Favorite movie this year is in a tie thus far. Inception and Toy Story 3 were both incredible (and very different) movies. ^_^ Just bought the soundtrack for Inception (I also <3 Hans Zimmer), and the bass in that soundtrack is just ridiculous.
