VGC and NPD are both using retail sample data.  Calling one less accurate than the other doesn't make any sense when both are highly calculated estimations.

Say VGC says 700 and NPD says 900.  But the real value is 800.  Can you look at the NPD number anc alim VGC to be any less accurate?

But going by Price is Right rules, in this case VGC would be the winner.
