Not logic. Conjecture. Don't confuse the two. If it's based on logic then the logic is circular, which is worse - more dishonest - than just conjecture. Don't present conjecture as proof and then expect mee to nod along with you. Doesn't work. Shouldn't work. You should work harder to form coherent opinions based on observation if observation is what you base them on.

You misuse the word "flaming". More, you misunderstand my intention: I seek clarity of communication. Nintendo is not above criticism.

Probably its because English is not my first language but why cant I write as good as you?

Seriously now. Watching you or Kaz debate is awesome. Level-headed, intelligent people who dont need to attack others to feel better or something.

Ok. Ass-kissing ends now.

PS - On topic, I have only played 1 metroid game on the SNES. Dont know the name and didnt find it that special. Only posted to talk to Khuutra.

But since this is Khuutra's thread, I think he wont mind.

I don't blame you for not falling love wih it - any Metroid game is only enjoyd after a period of acquiring a taste for it. I'm kind of lucky that my first Metroid game was Metroid Prime, since it had the benefit of being huge and flasy and foreboding and full of neat things for me to read. A lot of people wouldn't like it, though.

I only enjoyed Super Metroid because I was already used to what "Metroid" meant.

Another fun fact -  I have also only played the SNES Zelda too. But honestly, I think it mostly has to do with the fact that the SNES was my last Nintendo console.

When the PS came out, piracy came with it. With the SNES, I had stores near my house I could rent. They all closed. I, being a gaming addict, went to piracy. Though honestly I was too young at the time to know what it really meant. I just thought: - Hey I pay money for a rental and get to keep it forever? Cool!

So, I stopped playing anything Nintendo related. Then, came PS2 and now Im hooked on Sony franchises and what not.

So, who knows, maybe I could have been a Metroid fanboy like Rol.
