no please I don't trust anyone but Miyamoto!

I don't trust Miyamoto anymore

Why?

Mario Galaxy 2

Zelda, as a series, is built on experimentation and different forms. Some of its best games have come about as a result of these experimentations.

There is no reason that Miyamoto shouldn't be involved in a Zelda project.

Miyamoto hasn't been the top guy behind Zelda in a while, he's more of an advisor.  It's all Eiji Aonuma these days.  And most Zelda "experiments" have just been cosmetic--just different graphical styles, and a unique gimmick each time.  The truly experimental Zelda titles don't include Princess Zelda or Gannondorf.

Zelda 1, Link to the Past, Link's Awakening, Oracle Ages, Oracle Seasons, Minish Cap--all play roughly the same way with everything after Link to the Past being made on the foundation built by that game.  The other half of this is Ocarina, Majora's Mask, Twilight Princess, Wind Waker, Phantom Hourglass, etc (the 3-D ones)--all these play roughly the same way.

To be fair, Zelda II was the biggest experimental leap in the series where gameplay (and plot, I guess) is concerned. And where plot alone is concerned, Majora's Mask and Link's Awakening are the biggest experiments.
