I think expanding their market is the best thing they can do. This should never create compromise to their games though, but if games like Heavy Rain can reach a much larger audience than that's an incredible win for fans of Quantic Dream and their type of games. They were not, and the games weren't as good. Much of the reason why Heavy Rain is the success it is has to do with Sony and their support of the title, but if this type of game is to become more popular, then they need a larger audience. If they do go multiplat, hopefully they can find a publisher that can give them the kind of support Sony has given them.
And I know some people think that they should stay loyal to Sony because of their help, and Sony deserve huge credit for that, but if the genre of games is to see more success than a bigger userbase is one of the fastest ways to accomplish that.

well as long as SONY is publishing the PS3 version they won't need that much support for the multiplat publisher.
