The wii vesion of COD has exceeded expectations and over million sold each, but what stopped them from selling a trillion copies was the lack of content over the HD consoles..like the lack of modes, maps, special features etc. and never was because they didn't include split-screen.

That was ppl complaints then, now that black Ops comes fully loaded with features, modes, maps and specially with Zombie mode this time around, now the complaint is the lack of split-screen?  jeez!

I have to tend to agree with this.  Although I don't think it'll dramatically raise sales.  People would still rather have the pretty graphics, if they have multiple consoles.

I'm not a big FPS fan but it's nice to have one and CoD:BO just went from off my radar to serious consideration.    If it has patching and zombie mode and all the modes, etc of the HD versions then although I don't care for war games in general, I'll definitely consider getting this.

Split-screen would have pushed it into must have, but I can still get Goldeneye or Conduit 2 for local (and online) split-screen for when friends are over.
