The video game industry needs to grow up. Not only is it the only industry I've ever heard of where developers blame customers for bad sales, but I agree with Lord, many developers tend to make plenty of assumtpions without actually doing any real research. Gaming Journalists can fall into the same category. It's like they're in their own little world and fail to see the mass of people in this world who don't fit their tiny circle of ideas.

That's precisely how Nintendo swooped up this generation with the Wii. At least someone was thinking.

This is actually part of the reason I got so upset here. It's all based on the notion of thinking they know better, and then blaming us for not proving they know better.

Plus I want to repeat that it might be possible that online matters more. I just don't like it assumed without proving it. Too much money is at stake for such an attitude.

You got upset for no reason, though. What I had said was splitscreen was never a focal point or selling point for a Call of Duty title, then you went all Mariah Carey on me. I never mentioned anything about the rest of the industry as you did. Call of Duty has always been about it's deep online multiplayer, ever since the 1st Call of Duty game in 2003, it was never about splitscreen and playing with your buddies in the same room. Activision has spent a LOT of money on online servers for Call of Duty. When you hear Call of Duty, the first thing you SHOULD think about is the deepest online multiplayer game you will ever play, not splitscreen.

I was being super nice to you in the beginning and even apologizing for offending you but you continuously got ruder and ruder. So I got ruder as well. Breathe and take it easy.
