I don't quite understand what you're saying. Sorry. I don't have any care to compare 3DS to the other systems, since they're not 3D. You'd need to buy a 3D TV to make any of that happen. I was looking at the disparity between glasses-free 3D and glasses-required 3D. The price of 3D TVs being higher isn't really a factor I seem to find important in this topic. Of course it's more expensive than a tiny handheld? All TVs are.

I forgot to comment on the other sentence as well. You cant compare a handheld with a TV to look at the disparity between glasses and glassless 3D. You need to select 2 similar device. Obviously, at same price, glassless will be a lot more popular. Though im curious about how much consumers would be willing to pay. Lets say, one company release a 3D handheld with glasses at 199$ while 3DS without glasses is at 399$. Im not sure which one would have more sales, what do you think?

Hmm.. is the tech for glass-less 3D really that much more expensive?

No its not at all actually. On small size of screen the glasses would be more expensive than a parallax screen. Im just curious what exactly does being glassless worth for the masses. 3DTV would be a more realistic example since the parallax screen will be more expensive then glasses. What do you think between a 2499$ glasses 3D VS a 3499$ glassless 3D? (im extrapolating the numbers here, I have no idea how much glassless 3DTV will cost and how much glasses 3DTV will be at by that time)
Edit: I guess it also depends of what support both tech will receive, but for the sake of it, lets say its the same support.
