I honestly think this game could seriously hurt CoD Black Ops.

Modern Warfare 2 has/had a lot of disenfranchised fans... after the mess of a job they did to that game's online; cheaters, glitchers, exploits, hackers, people get sick of that and usually jump ship the first chance they get.

I love both the Halo series and Call of Duty series.  Even though Modern Warfare 2 was a slight mess doesn't mean everyone is going to give up on the series.  I hope that Black Ops is going to be even better than MW2 and that's why I'm sticking with the series.

Anyways, Reach is definitely going to impact the sales of Black Ops.  There is so much competition these coming months in the FPS genre.  It's interesting to see how much both will sell.  I hope both do well.

Oh don't get me wrong, Black Ops will still sell extremely well, and by no means do I think every single person will jump ship because of the MW2 online debacle... I just mean that maybe a small percentage of CoD users will be looking elsewhere for a fresh start; small enough percentage to make a bit of a dent in CoDs userbase, and big enough to boost Reach's sales. Hence, CoD's loss is Halo's gain.
