Why does Sony fail at making another mega franchise?

Miyamoto is one man, but hes a freak of the indusry. How many massive franchises can be attributed directly or indirectly to the man?

Mario, Donkey Kong, Zelda, F-Zero, Pikmin, Animal Crossing and the Wii Series.  I also discovered he was knighted in France in 2006.  I'm sorry, guys a freak.  Sony can't stop him, but kudos to them for doing better than anyone else. lol

P.S. Imagine if Miyamoto as ked for like a 50 million dollar pay raise.  Nintendo would have to say yes, he has them by the you know what lol.  "I only make ALL your big games...anyway..." lmao.

apparently Miyamoto's pay packet is nearly twice that of the  nintendo presidents thats with out bonuses and how lucky was Miyamoto to be taken under Gunpei Yokoi's wing in the early days.
