YES.
Of`course. =)

Only WW, But NOT in USA.

PS3 already passed x360 in Japan.
PS3 will pass x360 in Europe, after GT5, MGS4 and LBP releases.
PS3 will pass x360 in USA, after GT5, MGS4, LBP, DMC4, GTA4, FFXIII, R2, M2, G3, WKS, T6, W, 8D, HR and other great games released. So if All these games will be released in USA till the end of year, PS3 will pass x360 AND in USA.

If x360 won`t slowdown much, it will have 15-16 mln. consoles by the end of 2008. By the end of this year it will have around 10,5 mln.

So, with 3,5 mln. PS3 in USA by the end of this year, and ps3 will have to make 11,5-12,5 mln. by the end of 2008.
In next 45 weeks PS3 must sell around 177k per week. And in last 8 weeks make 3,5 mln.

To reach such number is impossible without GTA4, LBP, MGS4 and GT5.
But, it`s posiible to make over 200k ater this games are realeased.

So, PS3 TOTAL WORLDWIDE SALES will pass x360, But in USA it will pass only in some first part of 2009.

Is your post a joke? I'm asking in all seriousness, I have no idea what have your acronyms stand for(g3, m2, r2, w,8d?) And when you mention If the x360 won't slow down much I assume you mean the ps3, as the x360 already sold 15-16 million, which implies you think the ps3 by 2008 year end will have sold what x360 has already sold now, but some how it will pass it as if it won't sell a single console from now till then? So tell me this was a joke post.

And secondly people MGS4, GT5, and FFXiii are fine as games that will push the system, but please stop listing LBP, most people don't know anything about this game, there is far more reason to believe it will be a commercial failure(Even if it's hailed the greatest game by critics) then think it will push system sales.

Thirdly how can anyone suggest the ps3 will pass the 360 in America even in 2009? and early 2009? seriously people there is more data right now to support the idea that the 360 will have an even bigger lead on the ps3 by then, rather then the ps3 taking the lead.
