The Move is a fresher and quite frankly more technologically sound version of the Wiimote (without a cord on the navtroller) but the key difference is that they have Sony's first party to back it up with software. It's a great way to introduce new gamers to the more intense and demanding titles put out on an HD console. Games like No More Heroes just "feel" better on the PS3.
Kinect is something we haven't seen realized to the extent it is supposedly going to be when it releases. This makes it trendy and interesting, but in the long haul I don't think it will be able to stand up. People will only run in place and wave their arms around in front of their home theater for so long, and they probably won't do it in front of guests because as Mega64 puts it, it makes you "look like a f*cking idiot." |
I'm just stating a fact. I know nothing will come out of you that will change my opinion. And from just reading your comment, I was clearly right.
Your comments on the Move are clearly bias and sounds like advertising. You're trying to sell it as a great item for casual gamers, but I think casual gamers can figure out how to work a joystick. A joystick is also free with a PS3 and the standard input device. While the Move is a high priced item and will likely have poor sales.
Trendy and interesting is what put the Wii on top this generation. I'd also argue the Wiimote doesn't work as well as originally advertised, but that doesn't seem to have hurt sales much. Its also a much cheaper option than the PS3 with Move bundle. So people looking for motion technology similar to the Move, might just want the cheaper and original version that's bundled with games.
Looking like an idiot is dumb argument. And more of a reason why the Kinect will be a blast at parties or with drunk friends.
