Good read indeed, but I think he is too set on the idea that Sony could have ruled motion gaming. Yes, the motion controls are a huge part of why the Wii is popular, but if it had cost what the PS3 cost at launch, it wouldn't have been near where it is today, and if Sony had taken the Move-road with the original PS3, they might have had to sell a console at an even higher price, or taken more of a hit on profits.
I agree that Sony seems to have been very slow in bringing out the Move considering their research, but I don't know why they decided as they did. Hopefully motion controls will be much tighter integrated into the PS4.
