As of this weeks numbers the Xbox 360's numbers are back to the 5.5 Million console lead over the PS3 that it has pretty much maintained over the life (of both consoles)..

It was NEVER close to 8 million ahead.. its bounced mostly between 5 and 6 million ahead

Let me touch on that again..

The only place it was 8 million ahead was the USA and now that number is close to 10 million.. worldwide its been close to 5 million or more for the most part.. but I think it'll hit 6 at least now worldwide for as this console has a strong 6 months ahead with a slim 360 for the holidays
