Does it mention which games did this?
Either way I am not sure it would bother me too much. If you watched the stress test video with Brain Crecente it took him all of 5 seconds to recalibrate. It seems to be something that could be done quickly during a 5-10 second loading screen.
If they do it that way I don't see it being a huge deal.
