Barozi did indeed. In a thread about all the turmoil at R* San Diego and the title needing 4m to break-even he said 6m easy. With previews and not much else to go on. I remember commenting 'Hope you're right'. This was not R*'s forte, SD was in near mutiny and they were flying advisors from Leeds. I was just hoping for enough to warrant a sequel. I think it's the sleeper of the year despite the developers pedigree.
I enjoyed the hell out of it. I'm also gonna enjoy the center-right of Barozi's sig starting real soon. GOTY will be a scrap this year. RDR will contend as an rpg of the western-western sub-sub-genre? Whatever, R* rocks.
