First real date? at 14.. went to the movie Romeo plus Juliet.. right between our birthdays in February and April.. March 1997 (back then movies from Hollywood took months to release in the Netherlands).. with the girl I knew from childhood.. we were always bound to be together since age 6 so we took the step.. picked her up at her house around 5.. her mother opened the door and was smiling the entire time.. it was a lovely day.. the girl looked amazing and we took the bus to the next town cause ours didn't have a cinema.. we first went to dinner at a pancake house.. I had one with fruit and she had one with chocolat.. paid 26.75 gulden (before euros)... then went to the movie.. paid 15.50 gulden.. loved the movie.. on the way back the stars where shining and we kissed each other just a few houses before her house.. her mom opened the door and was still smiling.. I went a few streets further back home... and that ended my date..
we dated untill our 17.. then broke up.. back together.. broke up.. back together.. and we finally ended our romanticly relationship in 2005.. we're still friends and I still care about her... but I love another woman now..
