I'm actually quite surprised too because I've read/heard so many conflicting things about LG tvs. Since Pioneer got out of the tv making business Panasonic is supposed to be using the same tech that was in the highly touted Kuros. Panny did take a hit with the black rising fiasco with last year's plasmas but I've always likes Panny. I think once they start to fully grasp and implement the Kuro tech (2011, 2012) that they will be hard to beat in terms of all around picture quality for the price. Still and all though flat panels are getting nicer and nicer, lucky us.
I LOVE paying for Xbox Live! I also love that my love for it pisses off so many people.
