Even if this game got a 10, I would pass on it. Was never a huge Metroid fan, and I'm certainly not a fan of games that are heavy on cutscenes.

I love cut-scenes. and I would buy it if it got a 0. Because I don't trust reviews. :)

One of the cut scenes has Samus frozen in fear of Ridley.  This is an abomination as Samus kicked the shit out it before.

And then a man saves her? I will never play this game now that they made her a little  tart in need of a man to save her.  It ruins the what we have made of her as a fearless independent woman.  It ruins the feeling of Samus alone in alien terrain far from anybody, the feeling of isolation.  All you need are facial expressions and a few short cut scenes to show the lay of a new location.  My imagination what I personally and every player personally has made her out to be is now in the hands of a good programmer but a bad story teller.  This story has zero imagination, a story line used in a ton of bad movies.
