And I think it will end up getting a Monster Hunter game. It has to. The games do so well on PSP, PS3 is currently dominating the Wii 3rd party-wise in Japan and the 360 even got one. If it does get a MoHun game, it could also have the possibility of 1M.

I think it depends entirely on the sort of MH game it'd get, and exclusivity and subscription set up of that.  MH3G as an exclusive might, but if there's a Wii and/or 3DS version too, it more likely wouldn't.  A subscription only (ie: no 1p mode) title like 360 got would be a definite no imo.  An exclusive MH4 with free online would definitely manage it though.  There's really a lot of variables in play, but it should be noted that there's other PSP-to-PS3 franchise translations didn't exactly go well (Class of Heroes), nor Wii to PS3 translations (428) so there's a lot more to consider.

Do you think we could see MoHun 4 PS3... And then see the Portable version go 3DS?

Change over?  That's be an OMEGATON. lol!

Honestly though, I think we might see separate 'lines' entirely for Nintendo (Classic MH), PlayStation (Hardcore MH) and Xbox/PC (MMO MH).  I seriously think MH3G might end up multi between Wii/3DS, it just makes sense given what's already in place in terms of resources.

Aint that already being developed for PSP? Releasing late this year?

No, MHP3 is an entirely new game and not based on MH3 like the previous MHP/MHP2 were on MH/MH2... basically Capcom said they're making two separate MH lines, which makes me think we may get a "Nintendo line" and a "PlayStation line" that extend past Wii/PSP.

MHP3 does have some content from MH3 though (various monsters, behaviors, weapons, locales, etc) but the actual level designs, upgrade paths, mission objectives, etc are all different.  It's also lacking a major addition to MH3 entirely (water travel/combat) due to system limitations most likely.
