To be fair though, the British (and to a lesser extent the rest of the west) did royally fuck over Iran in the 40s and 50s. I wouldn't have anything nice to say about the west either if I was an Iranian. I don't think invading them would do anything to help the average Iranian's opinion of us, just prolong the hatred.
