@ Seece

I'm not saying GT5 will have legs in a matter of absolute fact, I'm saying the franchise is known for that. Looking at the Prologue, I think it wouldn't be a bad prediction, however.

The Prologue won't teach you anything. Previous main games have come out 6 months to a year after the Prolouge, this one? 2.5 - 3 years in some places, meaning if GT5 HAD come out 6 months after, it more than likely would have stumbled to 2 million.

i can say the same thing for halo 3.

What about it?

if halo 4 released 6 months after it, it would have never have reached 8 million.

point is halo isnt a game about great legs and at 6 months of sales it was about 7.5 million(im not sure), so 6 months after release it sold more then 3 million which is a lot.  prologue teaches us that their is an audience for gt5 and that the game will have legs.

8 million / 2 million? The difference is vast. And your anology doesn't work.

so what? point is if another game in the franchise releases 6 months after its going to halt the sales of the previous game released. god seece, you cant have an open mind. also if you look at it the first 6 months of halo 3 sales are about 72% of its sales. so if halo 4 released 6 months after it would have had a 30% decrease. which is a lot.

if gt5: prologue teaches us anything is that racing game have legs. look at forza.

I am having an open mind, your whole example is just confusing though.

true 8 and 2 million are very far away but i was just saying that any games sales will stop if a sequel came out after 6 months. and i showed you how mainly upfront games get heavily effected.

and next time il try to clarify things in a better way :)

Being in 3rd place never felt so good
