If Other M fails, Samus could be shelved for a while - maybe a  gen - or go handheld only. It went with more action and linearity for a reason. The scanning and backtracking in the last metroid felt like too much work - at least for me.  It needs to sell.  This game seems more open, straight forward, then the last. I think it has a good chance of having succes it. Two million would be really nice.

For any butthurt hoping the game will fail, be wary... it might be a long time before you see Samus again.

Where's Metroid: Zero Mission?

Don't know. It's not listed on VGchartz. It was a remake of sorts
