Considering the price just announced for the add-on 250GB HDD drive and that most people suspected it even before the announce, given MS' record, I'm not surprised Arcade gave a small bump, just slowing sales fall. People knowing they'd eventually need to buy a MS add-on drive won't buy an Arcade, it's the worst value in this case.

Unlikely as a 4gb with a USB stick option would work, I very much doubt that the persons purchasing the Arcade gave it much thought.

If you start liking DLC, USB sticks can become quite expensive to store large amounts of data, even compared to MS proprietary drives. It's a lose-lose situation.

20GB is fine that is the 4GB on-board and 16 GB stick retail £18 and I can buy me a few of them before not having the built in drive becomes a drama. I know because I had a 20GB launch console, Like I said though I doubt they give it much thought.

Quite obviously, from sales numbers of the various versions, 20GB aren't so fine for a large share of users. Anyway, if MS decided to price that 250GB HDD so high, there must be people ready to buy it, so much the better for MS...
