People didn't buy the Wii for RedSteel. People bought RedSteel because there were no other games to buy.
Ubisoft made a lot of money riding on Nintendo's wave early, even their games were average at best.
Just Dance is a recent IP. It was not released in 2006 to "cause" the Nintendo domination.
