I was in a traffic jam in Chicago once that seemed like it took forever. I got off an exit and went to sleep in a empty parking lot for 5 hours and then when I woke up it was still going on. Not counting the time I was asleep the thing lasted another 6 hours. Seems like construction is always the culprit and it is always going on 24/7 in Chicago. Thank god I don't live there and only have to visit a few times a year now.
Washington DC is supposed to have some serious traffic as well, just nothing on this level. I think I would probably get out of my truck and run naked for a few hours.. No one could stop you and by that point everyone else would be crazy and run naked with you.....
