wow, i mean, Wow, i gotta admit , i've been in a loooooooooooong traffic jam before , the longest i've been in one is probably 6-7 hours, and it left a scar on me that gives me nightmares, i was close to just giving up and jumping off the cliff , but this makes that seem like a cakewalk..

Coming back to the States from Mexico took me over 6hrs. That sucked balls. Can't imagine 10 days though. You'd think they would open up one lane on the other side to allow traffic through.

i was stuck in traffic in egypt for 6-7 , reason was there was a football match that they won against algeria

And I complain when I'm going to be 30 minutes late because of slow traffic. :P

Wow, I fell sorry for those people

I just heard this on my car's radio while driving in an empty highway... I feel very sorry for those people :(

I was in a traffic jam in Chicago once that seemed like it took forever.  I got off an exit and went to sleep in a empty parking lot for 5 hours and then when I woke up it was still going on.  Not counting the time I was asleep the thing lasted another 6 hours.  Seems like construction is always the culprit and it is always going on 24/7 in Chicago.  Thank god I don't live there and only have to visit a few times a year now.

Washington DC is supposed to have some serious traffic as well, just nothing on this level.  I think I would probably get out of my truck and run naked for a few hours..  No one could stop you and by that point everyone else would be crazy and run naked with you.....
