Well the Final Fantasy XIV is gonna be online only. So that greatly limits sales. Might even boost sales of XIII.

Final Fantasy XIII Versus will definitely boost sales for XIII. So there is potential to surpass X.

how is FF13V gonna boost sales of FF13,IT COULD BOOST A LITTLE BIT BUT IT WILL NOT BE ENOUGH

most FF cores would have already purchased FF13 and for the casuals to pick up the older game,there has to be word of mouth and in FF13's case its not that good

FF14 is gonna be online only and yes it limits game sales but won't boost FF13.actually if it got great reviews then people might think worse of ff13 even if they don't buy either but would have considered ff13 at a lower price

and all the upcoming blockbusters,FF13 would easily be forgotten

 

EVERY OTHER game isn't uncharted 1 like game that it gets boosted when the second 1 is about to launch
