Is it surprise someone anymore? when you have game franchise spawn on all consoles and even iphone but the wii (SFIV, Assassin creed) how could you expect the things to be different.
But as usual, what is making the nintendo console stand out is the 1st party game, not 3rd party and Nintendo as some really interesting games for the next months (Metroid: another M, Kirby epic Yarn, Wii Party, Donkey Kong: Returns , Zelda: Skyward Sword) that's enough to keep the nintendo core gamer busy (and less rich :p).
But we must first concentrate ourselves on the way to entertain people, for video games to live. Else, it's a world where sales representative will win, which has as effect to kill creativity. I want to say to the creators all around the world:"Courage, Dare!". Shigeru Miyamoto.
