For all you doom and gloom people out there  consider this for a second. What does 360 have to offer after Gears 3 launches? The answer at the moment is nothing, they will be reliant on 3rd party sales. Sony on the other hand has a huge list of 2011 titles and will likely have a price cut to fall back on should they need to. Yes the 360s and price drop hurt Sony in the hardware race but this is the first week in quite a while 360 outsold PS3 in software.

Long term outlook Sony> Microsoft

Short Term outlook Microsoft>Sony and Nintendo

We have heard this for years now.  MS this gen has deliberatly focused on showing titles that are basically in the next 12 months of release.

^ This. Expect atleast one or two major titles announced for fall 2011 at E3 2011.

7>3

Let me guess, there are 7 exclusive games announced for the PS3 for fall 2011? What are they?

i was talking about 2011.

sony has anounced for 2011: socom 4, infamous 2, killzone 3, motorstorm:apocalypse,sorcery.

compared to gears 3 for ms.

my point is one or two major titles arent go make the 360 more interesting in 2011 in the ps3.

Its all about tastes. I would prefer Gears 3, as I have played the first 2 to death, over those games while you would take those games over Gears 3. Either way next years line up isn't set in stone for either console especially for the 360 as MS doesn't announce games years in advance. I expect the Crytek exclusive Codename Kingdoms and Forza 4 to be released next year as well as some 'core' kinect games, like the Star Wars game.

isnt the star wars kinect game going to be a launch title?

true its all about tastes. but like godofwar3ever said the ps3 list has more variety.

"core" kinect games? until one releases it doesnt exist, hence the possibility of a core kinect game is slim to 0, mainly because kinect is their for the casual audience, and because it has limitations.

Being in 3rd place never felt so good
