360 = 1 big hardware revision - Many small revisions. Hefty pricecuts. Massive high costs, high brand games. Middle userbase.
Since the more recent new revision, above 200k.
And then......
Wii = No big hardware revision - one small revision (new color). Only one pricecut at 50 $. A couple of low cost, highbrand games. Largest userbase.
Still pushing more than Sony and above 150k.
They are keeping pace with Sony without doing anything with it!
Sure the numbers are not great but they have put no effort to boost it. We all remeber how low 360 and PS3 has gone before.
They still have the possibilies to play the same cards as MS and Sony. Wouldn't be suprised if a major hardware revision is incoming.
Predictions for 2009:
360: 39-42 PS3: 31-34 Wii: 67-70
Future projection
Wii will hit 100 million before christmas 2010 (made december 2008)
NDS Family will have sold and shipped more then PS2 at the end of 2009 (made january 2009)
