Nonsense, its selling at par with TvC. And Wii fans consider that a big hit!

Any talk of why NMH2 bombed so hard? Or what about S&P2?

There must be some reason all these core games bomb on the Wii. Or we should atleast hear an excuse.

I bet you forgot to add these sales to TvC: http://www.vgchartz.com/game.php?id=27320

Well I don't see why I should. Its technically a different game. But even if you include them, sales are still modest.

Its funny, people said TvC didn't sell great because of the anime characters being obscure outside of Japan. But even the Japanese didn't really care about that game.

In my humble opinoin the game just wasn't very good, they went a bad direction with the controls, and the Easy Operation controls shouldn't even be in there. Its a core game but they did too much to turn core gamers off.

Personally I love TvC but I'm not disagreeing with you.   They gave 'core' gamers SFIV.   But as I suck ass in SFIV as I'm too lazy (and disinterested) to master to the characters, I'm ever so grateful for TvsC which make me feel like a champ but still has a ton of depth.     Also, Wii lacks enough buttons to do a fighting games justice and waggle shouldn't be in a precision fighter so TvsC was an excellent fighter for Wii using what buttons are practically available.      I wouldn't call TvsC casual, but I would say it's a bridge title, like Brawl.
