Its crazy, not only to have the Wii 2nd place in the weekly sales but having the PS3 so close to the Wii. If things continue the way they are going we could see the generations first place winner possibly in third place in weekly sales on a semi regular basis next year.
On the side of a Wii replacement, Nintendo are likely seeing about 45% cut in console hardware revenue aside from any currency fluxuations YOY. That is about as severe drop as I have ever seen, the bottom really has come out of the present market for the Wii. Im picking they will replace it 2011 if it doesn't pick up. If the drops continue at this rate, they won't be able to contain the declines even with another $50 price drop.
