Considering SMG is around 8.9m this is low as a total. But let's compare the sales graphs.
oh wait I can't as that feature doesn't exist anymore .....
All in all SMG2 will probably sell slightly less than SMG, but we really can't tell until after this holiday. In the end this is still a highly profitable game for Nitnendo so it can't be considered anything but a success.
