I'm tempted to call BS on her story. On these shows everyone's always looking for their hook, and I can imagine some pushy parents saying to their 13 year old children "If you want to get the sympathy vote, tell them that you're actually a 23 and have a growth hormone condition". I think the clue for me is that her boyfriend is the same age physically.
I dunno.
