Its not the 360 doing bad, its the PS3 finally having a decent European Xmas (because of the price cut).
Keep in mind the PS3 has VERY LITTLE price flexibility at this point, I really doubt Sony can afford to go lower then $399/$499 any time over the next half year.
Whereas Microsoft has managed to hold strong at $349, this gives them an awesome opportunity to mantain a pricing edge for the next year. They will beat Sony to the $299 by a longshot and that is when sales should really pickup.
Anyways, Sony managed to stay alive this holiday season, but the Xbox is really putting some distance between the two consoles over the holidays. Americas is still the largest and more important market and the Xbox is still King of the HD Consoles.
