I had to eliminate three guys today because their school taught them ASP.net and they never bothered to learn PHP on the side. Unless they're planning to work for a Fortune 500 company, that ASP knowledge is virtually useless. School is a great stepping stone but students need to realize that work is required outside the classroom to succeed. Anyway, back to reading resumes.... sigh. |
