If you put the weeks list in order of how many pre-orders each game got you see the list looks like this

Sort of shows how bad GT5 really is doing in terms of weekly pre-orders.

1. Halo Reach - 158k
2. Black ops 360 - 37k
3. Fable 3 - 21k
4. Black ops PS3 - 19k
5. New Vegas 360 - 16k
6. Medal of Honour 360 - 15k
7. LittleBigPlanet 2 - 13k
8. Metroid M - 10k
9. AC Brotherhood PS3 - 9k
10. Kingdom Hearts - 8.5k
11. Final Fantasy Online - 8k
12. Dead Rising 2 360 - 7.4k
13. New Vegas PS3 - 7.4k
14. AC Brotherhood 360 - 6/9k
15. Mafia 2 360 - 6.7k
16. Medal Of Honour PS3 - 6.7k
17. GT5 - 6.3k

ROFL! Nice pic!

As to Hyrukens post, I do think its safe to say GT5 is underperforming.  Obviously NA isn't its strongest region and it will still sell millions of units, anywhere between 5-8 million IMO.  But when you show how much its falling behind on a weekly basis it does have to make you wonder how the franchise is holding up after all the delays and being out of the general gamer's minds for so long.

Personally I think the rise of the FPS is a big cause to the decrease in the Gran Turismo franchise.  Competitive multiplayer is where alot of the HD love is now days.
