But that just simply fits into your schema of what 'God' is. To polytheists, a god is not of supreme power.

That doesn't necessarily make it any more false. Just different.

I agree that they are just different and they have different effects on society.  I believe in one God, but don't believe pagan gods are false - just that one God works better for society.  But again, that's my opinion.
