I'm no GT Fan but I do see GT 5 doing rather well, it seems the demo has sold around 5 mil, I think the actual game will atleast nearly double that.
Gran Turismo is Sony's greatest flagship so:
1) there will be A LOT advertising
2) will probably be heavily bundled as well
3) will definitely be a greatest hit, so it will pre-long sales
I wouldn't be surprised if GT does pass the 10 mil mark as people have predicted, so call me another believer!!!lol
