With that in mind. I think it is entirely possible that the Wii is beat by the 360 this holiday in 2 out of 3 regions.  At this point no piece of software in itself will be a difference maker, not Halo Reach, not GT5, not DKCR.  What will sell a console is the overall library and sometimes a game changer like WiiMote or WiiFit and I believe a game changer like Kinect.

WiiMote made moms more comfortable with kids having a game console, because in this day and age many moms are scared of kids sitting around playing games.  WiiFit brought in people who specifically wanted to have something interactive to do with exercise.   Traditional Nintendo software came along for the ride moreso than pushed people on board.

Kinect is going to give people an option that not only does what the WiiMote /WiiBoards, but at least in theory takes it into overdrive in many ways.  I use a Heart Rate Monitor for exercise and not once on WiiFit has my heart rate boosted as much as it has when trying Kinect at Macy's and this past week at Chicago's Navy Pier.  This is really going to help push the 360 as the console for hardcore and for others.

I can guarantee you Reach and GT5 will push hardware since they'll be bundled. It's just a question of how much.
