Erm, but then... it would be accurate to call the Wii doomed, would it not? Or for any console past its peak.
I'm only clarifying this because I see people like M.U.G.E.N. constantly bring up how "only Nintendo fans say the Wii is doomed," when you obviously don't actually need to say "doomed" to proclaim "doom". Okay, I think I'm done with "doom" for now...
Lastly, at your theory of DS versions leading to high Wii sales - that still doesn't help us much. Particularly because those DS games (MKDS, NSMB), well, they're both kind of in the 20 million range. If DKCR puts up those numbers, I doubt anyone would be disappointed with it...
